TriOmaha

About

Founded in 2016, TRIOmaha is a flute, oboe, and piano trio based in Omaha, NE. Made up of members of the Omaha Symphony, the trio is comprised of Alyssa Griggs, flute, Heather Baxter, oboe, and Christi Zuniga, piano.

TRIOmaha's main mission is to go beyond the traditional concert format in order to bring a new appreciation and understanding of classical music as a vibrant and exciting art form to new audiences across the Midwest. TRIOmaha creates accessible, colorful, and interactive programs that directly addresses the issues currently facing classical music. TRIOmaha has provided educational conversations about music appreciation, music history, and entrepreneurial musicianship.

TRIOmaha has performed as part of the Vespers Concert Series, Omaha Chamber Music Society, as well as at the College of St. Mary, UNK Concerts on the Platte Series, and other local venues.
